The deadline to submit abstracts for posters on the 2026 DGP congress expired on 21 September 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent in December 2025. Please note that all notifications of acceptance/rejection will be sent exclusively to the email address of the submitter stored in the system.

Accepted abstracts will be included in the congress program as posters, ePosters or free papers and published in a special issue of Pneumologie (impact factor 1,7).

An independent Jury will select the four best abstracts to be presented on stage in the DGP Lounge. The authors will compete for the prestigious DGP poster awards in front of a professional live audience – with the first prize worth up to € 1,500.

The poster format for presentations at the congress is A0 portrait (84.1 cm wide x 118.9 cm high). Poster viewings will take place on the designated poster areas. You can obtain fastening material from the poster service at the respective areas.
